Spring is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Therapist who works with individuals of all ages using evidenced based practices, specializing in trauma informed care.
Spring has a Master's of Art in Education, Community Counseling from Chadron State College. Additionally, Spring holds a BA in Business Administration in Management and has over 12 years experience teaching adjunct at Mid-Plains Community College, and in business consultation. She has over 16 years experience working with individuals and families during and after a crisis or trauma. Her past experiences, including working as a Region II Care Coordinator, allow her to help facilitate healthy change for those experiencing a traumatic event or State involvement and connect with resources in the community to foster lifelong positive change.
Spring is well versed in Trauma, First Responders/Law enforcement, Military, anxiety, adjustment issues, depression, grief, recovery, PTSD, self-esteem, identity, and workplace issues. She has successfully facilitated several groups on topics such as Co-Dependency and a Trauma group with focus on reducing recidivism in the criminal justice system.
She is a member of EMDRIA, having completed EMDR Level 1 and Level 2 in person, as well as over 100 hours of advanced EMDR training in problematic behaviors, child protocol, Recent Events protocol, Group community disaster, and serving those who serve (Military). She has completed consultation with Brenda Rohren, M.A., MFS, LIMHP, LADC, MAC, BC-TMH, Mark Nickerson, LICSW, and DaLene Forester, Ph D, LMFT, LPCC
She received Advanced Training: Synergetic Play Therapy using EMDR with Lisa Dion, LPC, RPT-S and Judith Norman, LPC, LSC, RPT.
