Sandra is a Licensed Independent Mental Health Practitioner and a Licensed Drug and Alcohol Counselor in the state of Nebraska.  She has over 20 years of experience working with children, adults and their families who struggle with mental health and/or substance use problems in an individual or group setting.  Her work experiences include Richard Young Hospital, DHHS Child Protective Services, Region II Emergency Support, Lutheran Family Services, and Heartland Counseling Clinic.

Sandra received a Bachelor of Science degree in psychology and a Master of Science in Education, Community Counseling from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.  She also received an Associate of Arts in Psychology from McCook Community College.  Sandra completed EMDRIA approved EMDR Basic Training through The EMDR Support Network in 2018.

Sandra is a trauma informed clinician and provides care for both children and adults.  She has experience working with several different mental health diagnosis and can complete substance use evaluations, bio/psycho/social diagnostic interviews, and dual diagnosis assessments.
